  Although this house is advertised as being $140 per night, we were charged $160 plus an extra $40 for using both beds (it was just the two of us staying). As the visitor information and all website information says it is $140 per night I was not very impressed when I queried the owner and he said it was $160. As the house was vacant that night and we took it after enquiring at the visitor information, I think the owner did quite well to have a booking at the last minute when the house would have been vacant otherwise and I think it was quite greedy of him to charge us more than the going rate. Especially as being an overnight stay and checking in late in the afternoon and out early the next day there was no mess made or heavy housecleaning involved. As to the light breakfast, there was some bread in the freezer and cereal in the cupboard, no milk or butter, not impressed. The house itself is quite nice, I just object to be blatantly taken advantage of re the cost. I will be informing the visitor information in Stanley as well so no other unsuspecting traveller is told one price only to arrive at the accommodation and be charged more.
